My H1 Economics paper has officially ended approximately 5 hours ago. Even though it's just a H1 subject and all my papers are not over, i am still very very contented over the fact that I do not have to think about all the Economics concepts in the near future, unless I retake the 'A' Levels, of course.

I do not dislike the subject. In fact, I found most of the concepts quite interesting as they are very applicable to real life. Especially when I read the papers, and see the world leaders putting these concepts into use to alleviate the various problems they face. I just dislike studying for exams and i hate doing the papers.

2 case studies and 1 essay really drains up all my brain juice. 3 hours of continuous writing tires my hand so much please. I felt so lousy just now in the midst of the exams because my hands are aching and i can't write faster. I know I always do my work slower than other people so I know i can't finish the paper. Moreover, my handwriting is horrendous and I am scared that the examiners would not be able to comprehend my answer. But I managed to finish the question in the end. Contented!

And the rest of the papers I did were quite alright, except for GP and Chemistry P3. I was very upset with chemistry initially. I spent much of my study leave preparing for Chemistry! Yet it turned out bad. Felt so discouraged and everything that I ran away after the paper without telling my friends. But coming to think of it, I may sort of have deserved this because I really could have spent more time over the course of the two years studying. So many times I talked during lessons, slept during lectures, and not doing tutorials. I have not spent enough effort studying for the subject. All I can do now is pray, pray hard that I will get a grade so lousy that throw me off the path to high education. Oh and practise hard for the final paper!

Finally, I hope the rest of the papers of will go smoothly and me and my friends.

i have officially graduated last friday. from a strange school.

it's always like this, only until graduation then i realise it will be the last time i will be seeing many of my friends, well except those who sit near me during the actual 'A' levels in the hall.
especially when i think i will not like hang out with them after that very last exams.

sigh, i will miss all my classmates, friends from the choir, random friends from other classes, my teachers, all the "hi-bye friends" and someone else who is very special to me.

bros over holes and not hoes, jeremy, wei lun, boonhow and monil.
not forgetting people like hongray, joseph, pingfan, and their girlfriends.
and my others classmates, and the girls.
you are all very nice people. ok, not very nice sometimes, but overall you all are nice.

will be greatly missed.
all the nonsense during lessons and chilling in the canteen/library/benches near the pool table.

the jc path we had chosen is definitely not easy, but we had been through them all, moments when we feel so stressed up, moments when we feel that everything is unfair to us which makes us feel that our teachers are stupid because they are not understanding.

but we all know deep down inside those moments are just a test for us move on to become better individuals who will contribute to the society (:

so, it's the last mile now, before we get in course we desire in the various institutes of higher learning.
let's just study hard for the next few weeks people!

and,
my teachers had definitely been great. though there are times when they get angry for no particular reason (which makes me feel uneasy), i felt that they had already done a lot for us.

and i will not let their efforts go to waste.

I went out with Jiale and Yongzhen out to town because Yz wants to look around in the new building along Orchard Road: ION Orchard.

The first thing was to fill our stomachs because we are all feeling hungry! It's around 4 in the afternoon and we hadn't had anything for the day yet. So we went to this Japanese restaurant called Watami introduced by Jiale.

The service was good! The waiters are all friendly people who greets us with a smile. But there is thing that is considered strange by me about them...

When they take orders, they kneel down. Personally I think this is quite disrespectful for them :/

The food was good, Yongzhen and I ordered this seafood baked rice thingy while Jiale had this big bowl of rice. All very nice! All were good except for this super salty egg roll thingy.
Which chenjiale found nice of course. yongzhen and I even had some deserts! brownie and vanilla ice cream. mmmm.

but of course, good food and good service comes with great price. I am broke now.

And then we toured around ion and wisma. We sat at Starbucks in Wisma and had a great chat about life. For hours, but I like.

We then went to window shop more and went home(:

Met Hui Fong and Eddie aka Solo at Yishun because we want to celebrate Wei Ming's birthday for him. huifong is very GL today. He wants to GL everyone.
He bought a small little cake for weiming with a Hello Kitty toy on top. It's really small, like only for one person to eat that kind. What's more GL is that, he wants 18 candles for that small cake.

But the baker GL us. Don't want to give us say we buy the cake too small.
Huifong GL again. He say he want to buy.
Baker GL'ed back. One candle for 20cents.

we got owned of course.
Who the hell spends 20cents buying a small candle?

Huifong's pursuit for extreme GLism doesn't stop here. Nothing shall stop him. So we went to buy the big white candles used for Candlelit Dinner those kind.

prelims are finally over! but my results were kinda lousy and i think this serves as a wake up call for. it's time to work hard man ah hang! just 12 weeks or so of the relentless pursuit of academic excellence and everything will be fine (:

post prelim activities were great(:
first it's sakae buffet and movie with Lun, Boon and Jerm. been long since we hit the town eh?
up next is Boon's birthday surprise! camped there for the night and went to school together to collect our results.

up next, weiming's house! money-less jong session! fun night with jason the loser, guanhao and fong and not forgetting the BBK weiming and squeezing of his fats and drinking of his neverending supply of yakult! AYE AYE AYE! and his dog is scary manz! i think if i 1 on 1 with the dog i will be bitten to death manz.

and then, jong with jason's and shimin's primary school friends whom i had met for the first time. according to SHERMAINE KHONG SHIMIN, they thought i am some dao ass manz because i don't usually talk to peopel i just met.

up next, it's mugging-after-prelims. i stayed at home to do a chem p1 and i found out that i've got one page missing. and i did 2007 nov math paper 1 and man i FAIL i can't do 3 questions! this shows how unprepared i am. i mean like by this point in time i should had known everything and constant revision should be the only thing left. after that jason, guanhao and i went to huifong house to play MONOPOLY! pokemon version is uber cool. jason FAIL at monopoly. the only one who lost xD
after we finished our game jason the loser (he really lost) was sleeping and the 3 of us played something really nice, M.O.U. hehehehe only guanhao will know what it is. it shall be our dirty little secret. *evil grin*

today! i mean yesterday, met up with adonis, siyuan, shimin and siyuan for lunch. siyuan is flying off to china for attachment in less than 8 hours. bon voyage friend, i will miss you. though we seldom see each other :/

the past few days were well spent with my secondary school friends. definitely enjoyed myself(:

i had slept too much during the day that i am still not sleepy at this hour.
sigh.

i screwed up my body clock once again.

on the lighter note, life does not suck so much even though there's prelims.

i think studying ain't a bad thing. it's school that makes me feel tired and all.
waking up so early in the morning, going there and all the lectures and tutorials. ugh.
and it's back to this life after the one week holiday for a month. and before that i have 2 days of school. to get back the papers. ):

prelims is pretty much screwed. maths is incredibly hard. and i realised how overconfident i am for statistics(which i screwed). i don't know if i can even pass it at the actual 'a' levels. and gp, sigh, for the only part i can grab marks-- summary, i can't locate many points at all.
econs is a joke. just one hour before the paper starts it started raining heavily. and i have to walk to school making my whole pants wet despite having an umbrella. and i didn't want to complain about the drowned walkway which usually wet my shoes because even before i reached there they are already wet. but it still sucks. with all the muddy water piling up, i have to literally jump across them when i already feel so lousy after failing to stuff all the concepts into my brain. and the best thing is there are two essays for me to choose from, and they happened to be the two chapters i missed out. well i know it's my own fault for not studying them like earlier or something.. but fuck. fuck it. i am so screwed.

well the only subject i find managable is physics, which is supposed to be my worst subject.

now prelims is finally over, with just two more MCQs to go. :D
physics and chemistry. i hope i can pass them i am always poor at mcq especially with time management.

well i was anticipating my one week holidays during the september holidays, but apparently as soon as school reopens, we are going to have a maths mock paper. apparently there are people who got single digit for the paper, out of 100. and i definitely hope i am not one of them. well it definitely sucks to get single digit after you sit through a 3 hour maths paper cracking your brains as the numbers, algebra and the calculator which lags that doesn't makes no sense at all.
might as well stay home and study for others because a score less than 10 is pretty much close to zero.

nevertheless, i still think my future is going to awesome, especially when my life in this strange school is coming to an end. and the canteen food doesn't taste good which i think is due to the attempts to keep the food as healthy as possible.

had already planned some events after the exams and i am so looking forward to.

alright i shall go to bed already ;D
